Fitting and Finishing

Dr Rangi has been working with the same laboratory technician for a number of years, originally in Gladstone and Central Queensland before they both relocated to South East Queensland. In-house lab techs are rare so we are pleased that we can provide patients with the convenience of having the dentures crafted, fitted and finished all under one roof.

We offer patients dentures made from various materials: acrylic and metallic. They both look natural yet have some differences:

Acrylic dentures are created to look and feel natural. They are highly durable and correct the function of your bite.

Metallic dentures are often considered to be more comfortable and can be customised to enhance the contour of your gums. Though they may last considerably longer than acrylic dentures, metallic dentures are more expensive.
